What to check before you buy
- Measure the phone with its case and compare it with the mount’s supported dimensions.
- Identify a mounting location that does not block sightlines, vents, buttons, or airbags.
- Check whether the design leaves the charging port and wireless charging area accessible.
A trade-off worth considering
Dashboard, vent, windshield, and cup-holder mounts each balance access, stability, and installation impact differently. A highly adjustable mount may be easier to position but can take up more space or require more tightening.
