Power Banks
Power banks differ in more than advertised capacity. Match one to your devices by checking USB-C power delivery, port count, recharge speed, size, airline-travel practicality, and whether the battery indicator is clear enough for daily use.
What to check before you buy
- Confirm the bank’s USB-C output supports your phone, tablet, or laptop charging needs.
- Compare total capacity with the bank’s weight and the number of devices you carry.
- Check pass-through charging, low-power modes, safety protections, and included cables.
A trade-off worth considering
High-capacity banks can extend trips between outlets but are heavier and slower to recharge. Compact models are easier to carry, though they may provide fewer ports and less power for tablets or laptops.
